Lenovo had unveiled the Motorola Moto X4 smartphone at the pre-IFA 2017 event at the end of August. Today, the Moto X4 was introduced in India through a launch event in New Delhi. Flipkart and Moto Hub outlets in Delhi, Noida, Mumbai and Kolkata will be exclusively selling the Moto X4 smartphone in India.
Motorola Moto X4 Specs and Features
The Moto X4 has a 5.2-inch LTPS IPS display that produces full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The Snapdragon 630 chipset powers the smartphone. Its 32 GB model will be featuring 3 GB of RAM whereas its 64 GB variant is packed with 4 GB of RAM.
During the IFA 2017, Lenovo had unveiled the single-SIM edition of the Moto X4. However, the Moto X4 that has arrived in India includes a hybrid SIM slot which allow users to add two SIM cards at one time or one SIM card and one microSD card simultaneously.
The handset is preinstalled with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Moto Experiences. It also features Amazon Alexa assistant. However, it can be activated only after Amazon releases the Moto Alexa app.
The rear side of the Moto X4 has a dual camera system that includes a f/2.0 aperture 12-megapixel main sensor that is supported by an ultra-wide f/2.22 aperture 8-megapixel sensor. It is coupled with features like PDAF, 4K video shooting and dual-tone LED flash. The frontal snapper of 16-megapixel is equipped with LED flash. The handset includes a 3,000mAh battery. With 15W Turbo Power charger, the smartphone can last for up to 6 hours by charging it for only 15 minutes. The fingerprint scanner of the Moto X4 is embedded in its home button.
As far as the design of the Moto X4 is concerned, it is one of the best-looking Motorola phones as it features a metallic frame that is flanked with glass panels on front and rear sides. It has a dust and water-resistant IP68 rated chassis. It comes in two color variants like Sterling Blue and Super Black. The smartphone measures 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm and it weight is 163 grams.
Moto X4 Pricing and Availability
The Moto X4 will be available for buying on Flipkart starting from 11:59 PM on 13th November. The 32 GB and 64 GB models of the smartphone would be respectively available for Rs. 20,999 and Rs. 22,999.
By exchanging older smartphones, buyers of Moto X4 on Flipkart will receive up to Rs. 2,500 discount and exchanging old Moto phones can fetch Rs. 3,000 price cut. It can be also bought through monthly installments of Rs. 1,019 per month. Airtel subscribers can benefit from 340 GB free data. HDFC credit card and debit card holders can take advantage of up to 10 percent discount. Flipkart is also providing Moto X4 buyers with 50 percent buyback guarantee.
